The 500 kV Van Phong transformer station project was successfully energized, 27 days ahead of schedule
2022-12-05On the morning of November 28, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) coordinated with relevant units to energize the 500kV Van Substation Project. Room and connection, 27 days ahead of schedule compared to plan, ready to serve the trial power generation of Van Phong 1 BOT Thermal Power Plant. Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company is the construction and installation unit of this project.
The recent journey is considered a time of "overcoming difficulties to bring the project to the finish line". The project was started in September 2021, according to the schedule committed to the investor of BOT Van Phong 1 Thermal Power Plant, this project must be completed before December 26, 2022. Therefore, the construction time of this project is very short compared to projects of similar scale and nature. Not to mention during the construction process, the project encountered many challenges such as the COVID-19 epidemic spreading throughout the country in 2021.
Facing the challenge, Alphanam E&C has fully arranged human resources, materials, construction machinery and equipment on the construction site, taking advantage of the weather to speed up construction progress.
Energizing the project ensures safe and continuous electricity supply for loads in Khanh Hoa province and neighboring provinces; meeting the economic and social development needs of the key economic region of the South Central Coast; release the capacity of the BOT Van Phong 1 power plant and the capacity of renewable energy power plants in Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces.
