Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company completed the 220 kV Ben Luc transformer station and connection lines
2022-12-05At 03:16 on March 21, 2022, the Power Transmission Project Management Board (NPTPMB) coordinated with Alphanam E&C Joint Stock Company and related units to complete the energization of the 220 Transformer Station Installation Project. Ben Luc Area and Connection Line.
The project is implemented on the campus of the existing 220kV Ben Luc substation in hamlet 6, Nhut Chanh commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province. The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), NPTPMB manages and operates the project, and Power Transmission Company 4 takes over and operates.
The project has the scale of installing the second transformer (MBA AT2) 220 kV - 250 MVA, increasing the total capacity of the entire station to 500 MVA. On the 220 kV side, install equipment for 1 main feeder compartment for transformer AT2 and 2 transmission feeder compartments. On the 110 kV side, install equipment for 1 main feeder compartment for transformer AT2. Complete the control and protection system in accordance with newly installed equipment.
The connection line is about 150 meters long, connecting the Ben Luc 220 kV substation to circuit 2 of the Duc Hoa - Long An 220 kV line.
Once completed, the project will help reduce the load and avoid overload for the 220/110 kV - 250 MVA transformer at the 220 kV Long An substation, the existing 500/220 kV Phu Lam substation, and the 220 kV transformer at the 220 Ben substation. Luc and 110 kV lines in the area. Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the regional 220 kV and 110 kV power grids in normal and N-1 emergency modes, thereby improving the ability to supply electricity to serve the economic and social development of the country.
